HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY

Orders placed November 1st through December 31st can be returned until January 31st 2025.


We gladly accept returns of UNWORN merchandise within 30 days of delivery except clearance items, which are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged. Returns will be refunded to the original method of payment. You may obtain a return authorization using the Returns Center.

* Return via mail: You can print a shipping label and drop off your return at a FedEx location. You will receive an email when your return is received and your refund has been processed. Shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $6.95 restocking and handling fee per order deducted from the refund. Refunds are always issued to the original method of payment. To prevent a delay in refund, returns must be shipped back within 7 days since the return label was issued. Start by visiting our Returns Center.

Return in person with Express Returns™: Express Returns now offers nationwide Drop-offs at 1,500+ locations — making returns easier than ever before. You can return items in just a few clicks, no printer required. Please generate a QR return code and bring the item(s) you wish to return along with the shoe box and original tags, to one of our Express Returns locations. As an added bonus, we’ll combine your return with others nearby, meaning less cardboard, less carbon emissions, and a happier planet.
Visit our Returns Center to start your return online. Choose Express Returns for the Drop-off option. Simply follow the steps below:

  • Select Drop-off as your returns method
  • Retrieve your drop-off QR code from your return confirmation email
  • Take your return along with the shoe box (no label required) and QR code to the chosen Express Returns location
  • Show your QR code to the associate, hand over your item(s), and you're done!

Shipping charges are not refundable and there is a $2.95 restocking and handling fee deducted from the refund. Refunds are always issued to the original method of payment.

Do not send items back through other means or without obtaining a return authorization as your package may be sent back to you.

PLEASE NOTE: CLEARANCE ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. All purchases are final on clearance items.

Betsey Johnson guarantees against manufacturer's defects. Normal wear and tear does not qualify. If you feel the merchandise is defective and it was purchased from this website, please contact us by emailing info@betseyjohnson.com, live chat or calling 1-866-222-4243.

Betsey Johnson merchandise purchased from other retailers, including department stores, must be returned to the store from which it was originally purchased and is subject to the return policy of the originating retailer. 

Returns from Canada must be made through a carrier that provides a tracking number. Return cost is NOT covered by Betsey Johnson. Once the package is dropped off, please email info@betseyjohnson.com with your order number, carrier name and tracking number. Merchandise must be returned to:

EXCHANGES

We do not do exchanges. Our reasoning is simple. Our products are in high demand and if you send back the item you want to exchange, there is no guarantee we will have what you want at that time. Therefore, we suggest you place a new order for the style, color, size you want, and then call customer service at 1-866-222-4243 to get return authorization and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to send the item back to us as a return. When you call customer service please have your new order number handy so they can file the return as an exchange and a full refund will be issued once the merchandise is received at our warehouse.
